  1. I met Dean for the first time last year. Having paid for what I thought was a proffesional overhaul for my YAS-62 Alto Sax by another repairer, and having had it returned in a worse condition than before it went in I was worried.
Dean quickly put my mind at rest and removing some keywork there and then advised me of the problems and what would be required to make it right. I left him my precious baby that I had purchased new in 1982.
24 Hours without a sax had me at a shop purchasing a custom 875ex (alas not stocked by Dean)and playing it that night I noticed a couple of leeks a brand new instrument supposedly checked and set up by this reputable shop.
I took it do Dean and asked him to give it the once over 45mins later several adjustments and pad reseats the sax was perfect.
Two weeks later I returned to get my 62 the tone hole damage caused by the previous repairer had been completely and invisibly restored to perfection everthing felt and operated perfectly and I dont think it had been quite that shiny since 1982.

I can highly recommend Dean as a repairer, and have sent friends with their instruments to Dean who have had the same bad experiences who like me will not use anyone else to repair or service our instruments.

Dean is a curteous knowledgable and gifted instrument repairer and restorer and compared to the other less competent repairers I have had experience with cheeper too. The advantage of talking directly to the repairer and be able to have fine adjustments made there and then is so much better than the faceless repairer your instrument is sent to from other high street music shops.

If you are reading this you are lucky to have found Dean and would be foolish to go else where.
